Terms of Service
These are the rules for using SiteUp. We kept them short and plain. By publishing a site, you agree to them.
Who runs SiteUp
SiteUp is a free service run by an independent developer. You can reach us at hello@siteup.fyi. For abuse and legal matters, write to abuse@siteup.fyi.
What the service does
SiteUp lets you publish static files, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and media, at an address on siteup.fyi for a period you choose. There is no account and no payment.
Each site can be up to 50 MB and 1000 files. You choose a lifetime of 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year and can renew it. When a site expires it stays offline for 7 days, so you can still renew it, and is then deleted.
These limits and features can change as we learn what keeps the service fair and affordable.
Your content
You are responsible for everything you publish. You must own it or have the rights and permissions needed to share it, including for images, music, fonts and text made by others.
You keep all rights to your content. You allow us to store, copy, process and serve it only as needed to run SiteUp, for example to host it, cache it, show you a preview and check it for abuse.
Rules for using SiteUp
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: nothing illegal, nothing deceptive, no collecting passwords or payment details, no malware, no spam, no harassment and no infringing other people’s rights.
Please do not try to get around limits, the security check or other protections, and do not use SiteUp to overload or attack anything.
Your manage link
When you publish, you get a private manage link. It is the only key to your site. Anyone who has it can update, renew or delete the site, so keep it safe.
Because there are no accounts, we cannot recover a lost manage link or tell who owns a site.
Removing content
We may disable or remove any site or content at any time, with or without notice, for example to follow the law, to protect people or to protect the service. Sites reported by several people may be taken offline automatically while we review them.
Availability and changes
SiteUp is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause or shut down the service, in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently, at any time.
Always keep your own copy of your files. SiteUp is not a backup service.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, we give no promises or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of SiteUp or from not being able to use it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using SiteUp after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking to us first, the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction, unless consumer law that applies to you gives you a different right.
